About the Role
This position will be a key player charged with building and refining our paid social strategies, planning and client service. We want someone that can come in and make social their own kingdom, taking ownership and working hand in hand with clients and the planning team. Key Areas of Responsibility
Responsible for day to day social media campaign strategy, management, budgets and optimizations in support of client goals and innovations recommended to clients
Daily use of reporting, analytics, and trend tools, including but not limited to Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, and less urgently Pinterest, Snapchat and LinkedIn
Become a part of our clients’ marketing teams - manage day to day communication with clients including best practices, presentation decks and assisting with strategy and organic plans
Develop strong working relationships with social vendors to stay up to date on new ad offerings and test opportunities
Proactively research campaign issues and formulate actionable solutions
Identify the variables that can be optimized and execute optimization.
Aggregate results and prepare weekly summary and key learnings.
Prepare/present campaign reporting including evolution of all KPIs like media spent, engagements, and granular analysis.
Serve as the contact point for questions related to the campaign from client or other agencies involved in the weekly execution.
2-3+ years of paid social media planning and buying experience
Strong writing and presentation skills to clients – must be comfortable advocating for your POV and recommending solutions to clients proactively and articulately
Proven paid social skills, optimization techniques, and bid management – which campaigns were your biggest successes?
Proven ability to derive consumer insights from the social data your campaigns generate – what does the data mean for clients beyond what they can see on the page?
Mastered understanding of key paid social metrics and what they mean: CTR, CPC, Engagement Rate, Action Rate, etc.
Ability to work autonomously and demonstrate self-started qualities and to research paid social issues and formulate tangible solutions
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver effective results for clients
Advanced computer skills, proven experience in Excel and PowerPoint
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
