About the Role

The Media Supervisor is a human. Yes, a real human. One who has a relationship with their clients, can translate data into actionable insights and work collaboratively with the team around them. The Media Supervisor will be a key experimenter, communicator and collaborator with internal personnel, the client team, and creative agency contacts. We are looking for someone with a strong Digital background, though Traditional media experience is a huge plus.

 

 

Major Responsibilities

  • Focus on problem solving and solutions, guide the team accordingly

  • Ensure the team is regularly informed and updated regarding client needs and strategies

  • Help manage applicable client budgets

  • Develops objectives, strategies, plans and presentations

  • Creates and manages media partner RFP process

  • Maintains media plans including changes, budgeting, execution, reporting, optimization and invoice reconciliation

  • Executes all digital plans in DoubleClick with AdOps

  • Stays apprised of industry standards, new media programs/opportunities and can advise on new ways to reach targets

  • Develops and fosters strong relationships with media partners

  • Analyzes web metrics, provides campaign effectiveness reports to clients, and recommends optimizations where appropriate to improve media performance

 

 

Critical Skills

  • A positive, can-do, and customer-centric attitude toward your work

  • 3+ years experience in Media Strategy or Planning for a media or full-service agency

  • Strong client-facing presentation skills and relationships

  • Prior experience leading team members preferred but not mandatory

  • Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Digital media experience including SEM, Social Media, Web Analytics, Online Media, Digital Video, Mobile

  • Working knowledge of TV, Radio, Print and Outdoor Media preferred

  • Familiarity with common media research tools like MRI, ComScore, WARC, etc.

  • Proven project management skills

  • Effective communication and presentation skills


 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • 3+ years of digital media planning/buying experience

  • Experience using DoubleClick, ComScore, Nielsen NetRatings, Google Analytics and other media tools

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)

  • Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and presentations

  • Traditional media experience preferred
