About the Role

The SEM/PPC Manager is an ROI/ROAS driven, lower-funnel expert who is able to combine advertising and innovation in ways that help our clients grow their business. This candidate is responsible for building a strong relationship with their clients, translating data into actionable insights, and can lead the team around them. The Performance MarketingStrategist will be a key experimenter, communicator, and collaborator with internal personnel, the client team, and creative agency contacts.

Major Responsibilities

Participates in development and management of effective integrated media plans and buys under the supervision of the Media Director

Develops objectives, strategies, plans and presentations

Creates and manages media partner RFP process 

Maintains media plans including changes, budgeting, execution, reporting, optimization and invoice reconciliation

Develops paid search and PPC campaign recommendations and optimizations, particularly within AdWords, Amazon, Facebook, and programmatic platforms

Stays apprised of industry standards, new media programs/opportunities and can advise on new ways to reach targets

Develops and fosters strong relationships with media partners

Analyzes web metrics, provides campaign effectiveness reports to clients, and recommends optimizations where appropriate to improve media performance

Performs other duties and projects as assigned

3+ years experience in managing performance marketing campaigns for a recognized media agency or in-house media planning/buying team

Is passionate and articulate and can craft a compelling case/recommendation and present it to a client 

Hands on experience with digital planning and buying for Search, Social and DSP platforms such as Facebook, AdWords, Amazon, and The Trade Desk

Responsible for driving marketing objectives – ROAS/ROI, SOV, Revenue Targets

Tag and pixel management, creative QA, and implementation

Exceptional organizational and communication skills to work closely with and build relationships with account, creative, PR/SMM teams. Works well in a team structure.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required

2-3 years of digital media planning/buying experience

Strong mathematical abilities required

Detail oriented and proficient at managing projects and able to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload

Experience using DoubleClick, ComScore, Nielsen NetRatings, Google Analytics and other media tools

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)

Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and presentations

Traditional media experience preferred
