About the Role
The Assistant Media Planner is a human. Yes, a real human. One who has some marketing or paid media experience and can work collaboratively with the team around them. The Assistant Media Planner will be a key collaborator with internal personnel in service of our award-winning clients.
Major Responsibilities
Participates in development and management of effective integrated media plans and buys under the supervision of the Media Director
Develops objectives, strategies, plans and presentations
Creates and manages media partner RFP process
Maintains media plans including changes, budgeting, execution, reporting, optimization and invoice reconciliation
Executes all digital plans in DoubleClick with AdOps
Develops paid social campaign recommendations and optimizations, particularly within Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
Stays apprised of industry standards, new media programs/opportunities and can advise on new ways to reach targets
Develops and fosters strong relationships with media partners
Analyzes web metrics, provides campaign effectiveness reports to clients, and recommends optimizations where appropriate to improve media performance
Performs other duties and projects as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required
Strong mathematical abilities required
Detail oriented and proficient at managing projects and able to multi-task, organize, prioritize and structure workload
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint)
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well-written documents and presentations
